Test Automation Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate with project team members, read and understand business requirements and technical specifications to formulate a testing strategy.
- Create and document test plans, test steps, test execution results, defect logging in Azure DevOps or other issue tracking systems.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts, test plans using Test automation software/tools.
- In addition to the creation of testing solutions within an Agile & DevOps environment, the candidate should exhibit excellent problem solving and data analysis skills as well as a proven ability to work independently.
- The candidate will focus on the testing of the solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related Office 365 services.
- It is essential that this candidate have exceptional communication skills and be flexible with technology, environment and priorities.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities
- Ability to communicate ideas in a variety of formats
- Adheres to Agile development methodology
- Document and communicate test results to Project Managers, Developers, Business Analysts
- Experience with Dynamics 365/Power Platform
- Experience with Selenium
- Experience with Azure DevOps
Desirables/Advantageous:
- Experience working in either Consultancy or ISV
- Experience developing a Test Management programme
- Knowledge of additional programming languages, tools, framework is an asset
